A weekend at the hospital, Halloween Night and Brays first steps!!!

Where have I been??? I have been a slacker. But I have a excuse I have a lot going on. If you didnt hear halloween was a scary night for me. We were walking around taking the kids trick a treatin and I started to get really dizzy and my heart started beating really really fast 169 beats a minute to be exact. Anyways long long story short we had to call 911 cause I got really sick they took me to the hospital and did test after test on my heart everything came up normal. Which was extremely odd.They think that it could be ansity or panic attacks because all the stress I am under but they dont no for sure. Also my pottassum level was dangersly low. So they kept me for the weekend. They really dont no what happened but I go see a cardiologist on the 20th of this month. So when I do know some thing I will post it. But for now I am just getting alot of rest.

Besides that halloween went pretty well. We took the kids trick a treatin!! They got lots of candy. And than Bray spent the weekend with his aunt Tanya. Which he enjoyed it. Bray was a dinosaur. He really didnt care that much this year but next year should be better.His cousin Kaiti was a lil mermaid and she just had a blast. She went up to the houses and said trick a treat it was the cutest thing. She was afraid of some of the houses though that where all decked out in scary stuff.

So we have been working with Bray on walking 24-7. He has been getting better and better. Well tonight he just let go of the coffee table and took 2 steps. When Tanya and jake had him over this weekend he took his first 3 steps with them. I was sad until I actually saw him do it tonight. And than after that he just took of and walked 5 steps like it was nothing. It made my night. So I am hoping he will be walking like a champ by thanksgiving. If not a lil after. This is great news because he has something wrong with his foot and might have to have surgery so we thought for sure that this would hold him back but he proved us wrong. Anyways hes just becoming the smartest lil boy ever. Every day he amazes me with something new. Hes doing extremley well considering where he has came from. He still aint the best of eater but I have faith that it will get better. Hes just so PICKY!! Okay so I upload some pictures now!!

Brays 1 year old check!!!

So Bray had is 1 year old well check up today. It went okay for the most part. He weighed in at 17 pounds 6 ounces 28 inches tall. His head was 47 centimeters. Hes still under with the weight. So shes referring us to a nutrientist and a Gi specialist. She is also taking him off the formula and putting him on pedisure. Which should help him gain weight pretty fast. Besides that hes doing pretty good she was very pleased to hear that he is crawling and to see how wonderful he looked. He got 4 shots today and I was surprised how well he did. He cried for a few secs than took his bottle and he was fine. So like I said I will try to update pics tonight and the video of hm crawling. We are having some problems with our computer right now. Have a good week....

Braydens 1st Birthday Party

So Bray had his first Birthday party on Sunday. We did it at Peter Piper Pizza!

It turned out good he GOT LOTS of cool TOYS!!! My mom made the cakes and they turned out AWESOME! We had a really GOOD turn out. He ate a whole slize of PIZZA!! And even had some cake. I will post a few pictures of his birthday party in th next few day. AND by the way Bray is crawling like a PRO. Pulling himself up to everything. So I am very happy we have been waiting for this FOREVER. He had his 1 year old check up tomorrow he has to get 4 shots Iam NOT HAPPY:(!! I will post again tomorrow after his apt. Have a good week!!! I will be uploading a video of him crawling to!!!

CrAwLiNg!!!

So as you all no Bray has been able to get up all 4s and rock. Well for the longest time thats all he would do. Well that has FINALLY changed yesterday he has figured out how to crawl. YEAH!!!! He army crawls and crawls on all 4s. He dont do it all the time but its a start and we are very EXCITED!!! So watch out WORLD here he COMES...

You might be thinking to your self hes a year old and is just starting to crawl. Well remember where he came from. He was a 29 weeker. We go by his adjusted age which is 9 in a half months. AND REALLY HES NOT DOING TO BAD. I have a video of it and I will POST it as soon as I can...... No pictures today sorry. O and I took him to weighed the other day and he now weighs 17.6 which IS really GOOD to. REMEMBER he was 2 pounds 6 ounces at birth!!!

Getting Close!!! YEAH!!!!

Yes this picture is what you think. He did it all on his own. So the past week we have been working with Bray on crawling. The therepist from birth to 3 came last Monday she told us that Bray is very strong in the arms and legs but his stomach muscles are very weak. She gave us some exersises to do with him. So that was our goal for the week. Well 3 days ago he has learned to get on all 4s. He goes from siting to all 4s all the time now. Its a start and I am very happy cause a week ago he wasent even doing this so YEAH!!! When he gets in crawling position he will rock and move forward just a lil bit. So I think we are getting close.. He wont go from laying on his belly to all 4s yet but we will get him there. So we are very excited. She also told us not to expect Bray to walk untill 15 or 16 mths. But I will not believe that I no my lil strong boy will walk b4 that I have FAITH!! Here are some pictures of him hope you enjoy!!!

HOT DOGS WITH MAC AND CHEESE

SO TONIGHT BRAY HAD HOT DOGS WITH MAC AND CHEESE FOR HIS VERY 1ST TIME. HE WAS UNSURE AT FIRST BUT THAN AFTER CHOWED DOWN. HE DIDNT EAT A WHOLE LOT OF IT BUT HE DID GOOD FOR HIS FIRST TIME. HES STILL UNSURE WITH DIFFERENT TEXTURES BUT HE IS DOING BETTER THATS FOR SURE. SORRY DIDNT GET ANY PICTURES DIDNT HAVE MY CAMERA ON HAND BUMMER NEXT TIME THOUGH. ANY WAYS I AM SLOWLEY GIVING HIM TABLE FOOD EVERY DAY. HE IS JUST TIRED OF EATING HIS BABY FOOD.
OK ON TO A NEW TOPIC SO YOU ALL NO THAT BRAY HAS BEEN SICK. SO WE THOUGHT IT WAS JUST THE FLU. WELL IT WASENT. ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO I STARTED INTRODUCING BRAY TO COWS MILK HE DID GOOD FOR THE 1ST COUPLE DAYS AND THAN ALL OF A SUDDEN HE GOT SICK THROWING UP DIRREAHEA ECT. WELL HE HAD A ALLERGIC REACTION TO COWS MILK. NOT ONLY THAT HES NOT SUPPOSE TO HAVE VERY MUCH DAIRY PRODUCTS. SUCKY YA WE KNOW!!! HES STILL A LIL SICK HES HAVING SOME MUCUS AND BLOOD IN HIS STOOLS STILL. THEY SAID THATS CAUSED FROM THE MILK. HIS DOC TOLD US TIME WILL TELL. IF IT GOES AWAY THAN IT WAS THE MILK BUT IF IT KEEPS CONTINING THAN THEY NEED TO DO SOME MORE TEST. YA TALK ABOUT FRUSTRATING. I FEEL SO BAD FOR HIM. I HAVE FAITH THAT EVERYTHING WILL BE OKAY HES A VERY STRONG LIL BOY THATS FOR SURE. SO THEY WANTED ME TO SWITCH HIM TO A NEW FORMULA ITS CALLED NUTRAMIGEN LIPIL. ITS A HYPOALLERGENIC FORMULA. ITS FOR BABYS THAT ARE ALLERGIC TO COWS MILK PROTEIN. WELL IN TRYED IT A COUPLE TIMES TODAY HE WILL NOT TAKE IT. AND I TOTALLY DONT BLAME HIM IT SMELLS HORRIBLE. SO I CALLED THE DOC TODAY AND THEY JUST SAID TO CONTUNIE THE SOY FORMULA FOR NOW. SO WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE GOING TO DO. OKAY SO THATS ALL FOR NOW I WILL UPDATE IN THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS. BRAYS HOSPITAL STAY!!!

OKAY SO I TOOK BRAY TO THE DOC FRIDAY MORNING BECAUSE HE WAS RUNNING A CONSTANT FEVER HE WAS UP ALL NIGHT THROWING UP GAGING AND HAVING DIRREAHEA. SO I MADE HIM A APT EARLY FRIDAY MORNING 9:15 TO BE EXACT. SO WHEN WE ARRIVED BRAY WAS SCREAMING THROWING UP ECT. SO THE DOC OBSERVED HIM AND SAID I WANT A CATHTER DONE TO CHECK AND SEE IF HE HAD A UTI. WELL THAT DIDNT GO GOOD BRAY WAS DEHIDRATED SO THEY COULDNT COLLECT ANY URINE. SO SHE DECIDES THAT HE NEEDS TO BE ADMITTED AND PUT ON IVS FOR ATLEAST 24 HRS. SO WE DIDNT LEAVE THE DOCS OFFICE UNTIL 11:45 TO BE EXACT.. HER BIGGEST CONCERN WAS THAT HE DROPPED A POUND IN A WEEK. HE WAS AT 16.6 AND NOW HES AT 15.6. SO YEA VERY UPSETING. BUT WHAT CAN I DO WHEN HE WONT EAT AND WHAT HE DOES IT WAS COMING RIGHT BACK UP. SO THEY SEND US TO BANNER DESERT WHICH IS SUPPOSE TO A GOOD CHILDRENS HOSPITAL. SO WE STAYED FOR 24 HRS AND PUT IT THIS WAY IT WAS THE WORSE 24 HRS OF OUR LIVES. I AM NOT GOING TO GO INTO DETAILS BUT I WOULDNT RECOMMEND THAT HOSPITAL FOR ANYTHING. BANNER GATEWAY ALL THE WAY LOVE THAT HOSPITAL. ANYWAYS HE WAS DISCHARGED AROUND NOON TODAY. HES BEEN DOING OK. HE WILL GO BACK TO HIS PEDS. DOC NEXT WEEK. AND TO TELL THE TRUTH THEY NEVER EVEN TOLD ME WHAT WAS WRONG WITH HIM AND I STILL DONT NO. I AM JUST HOPING THIS WILL PASS SOON. ANYWAYS I AM VERY TIRED BRAY HAS BEEN UP AT NIGHT 4 2 NIGHTS NOW AND I AM EXHAUSTED. I AM HOPING AND PRAYING HE SLEEPS TONIGHT. I WILL UPDATE IN A COUPLE DAYS AND LET EVERYBODY NO HOW HE IS DOING. PRAY FOR HIM AND US PLEASE. THANKS!!!

HIGH FEVER

So Bray got really bad last night he started to run such a high fever that he could barley open his eyes! So Daniel and I decited that we had to take him into urgent care. They said his throat is really red but that its not strep so thats a good thing. They put him on a 5 day antibotic. If hes not better in 5 days he needs to in to his primary care doc. He wont take a bottle but he is taking water out of the sippy cup and he is now back to eating his cereal and baby food. It hurts to suck on a bottle so Im not forcing him. I feel so bad for him. Today has been a lil better though so I am hoping that in the next couple days he should be all better. Anyways I hope everybody likes my new page thanks to Laura I love it. So I will post in the next couple days and let everybody no how Bray is doing. See you Later

Baby Shower, a day of Golfing and A sick Baby!!!

The weekend started off good. I threw a baby shower for my cousin Hailey on Saturday. So friday I just got everything ready. On Sat. I went over to Haileys early and set up. I didnt have a baby sitter so I took Brayden with me. The baby shower started off good. And than out of no where Brayden just started crying and bacially cried the whole time. So thank god for my sister mandy and everybody else who helped out with him. I just thought it was teething. Well Sunday morning he woke up with a high fever a cough and wouldnt eat. I dont no what is wrong with him but I am taking him in. So Sunday afternoon he started feeling a lil better after giving him 2 or 3 doses of motrin. So we decited to go play golf for a lil bit as I am learning to play. He was ok and lasted about a hour and than he started to get to red. So plan is to take him in asap to see what he has. I will let you guys no when I find out.

JUST A LITTLE UPDATE!!!!

Well I thought it was time to update. Theres not much to report about Brayden I guess thats a good thing. I am sorry I dont have any pictures to post I will put some up tomorrow. His eating has been getting a lil better. Hes eating 3 meals a day and a few bottles a day. He feels to be getting heavier. He is still not crawling which I dont understand this I am working with him 24-7. He does scoot backwards and rolls all over the place, sits up perfect. He has learned to go from sitting to all fours but dont no what to do from there. Help me people does anybody no of any tricks? He still gets early intervention they come once a week. She always says Brays doing great. He still dont take things to his mouth like he should. I think that has to do with his sensory problems. He is getting better with his hands. We are noW working on him holding his bottle he is very lazy and would perfer me to hold it lol. I have started him on a sippy cup and he is doing gOOD with it and loves it. Besides that hes doing great. Hes a happy baby for the most part. He has started to have a lil temper HE KNOWS WHAT HE WANTS AND HOW TO GET IT LOL!! Like I said I will post pics soon... I hope everybody has a good rest of the week.... ANY ADVICE HELPS

4th of July!!

Our day started of pretty rough. Bray woke up with a fever. Like I have said before teething is very rough on him. He wouldn't take a bottle for me all day. He was eating his baby food though. So I canceled our plans that we had made for that day. I said if he would get better later than I would at least take him to see fireworks since this is his 1st 4th of July. So to make the story short his fever broke and he started to feel a lil better. So we just headed up to the high school and watched fireworks. I didn't get any pictures sorry. I was able to snap a few before we left and some when he was in the bath tub. Bray loved the fireworks he watched them the whole time which I was surprised because he was very sleepy.
Okay Bray has had a very bad attitude lately he will scream if he wants something and we don't give it to him. So we captured a video of him doing that. We teased him just to show you guys. Please don't think were mean we never have done this before and wont ever do it again. I just wanted to show you that Bray can throw fits to lol. I hope everybody had a happy 4th of july. Sorry about the pictures I will post more later. Brayden loves his bath time!!!

We took a few videos tonight of mommy daddy playing with Bray Bray. I don't no how well they turned out but I hope you enjoy. We were trying to tape him talking. He now says mommy, Dada, Nana, Baba, cocka (don't no were he learned this word lol). Hopefully I will be able upload some soon hes just so smart he knows when the camera comes on. Besides that nothing to much has been going on. Hes still having a hard time with teething and he bit his toungh tonight. So we had to put him in front of the mirror to calm him down that always works lol.

Sunday Afternoon

HELLO EVERYBODY!!!!
SORRY IT HAS TAKEN ME SO LONG TO POST PICTURES IT HAS BEEN A VERY BUSY WEEK. WE ARE STILL TRYING TO UNPACK AND GET ALL SET UP IN OUR NEW HOME. BRAY HAS BEEN DOING OK. HIS EATING HAS NOT BEEN THE BEST BUT HE IS TEETHING VERY BAD. HES GETTING HIS 2 TOP FRONT TEETH. THEY ARE VERY SWOLLEN AND RED. I FEEL SO BAD FOR HIM. AND THE SAD THING IS THAT NOTHING WORKS. I TOOK HIM INTO THE DOC THIS WEEK HES HAD A COUGH STUFFY NOSE AND HAS BEEN VERY FUSSY. THEY SAID THAT HIS LUNGS SOUND GOOD THAT ITS ALL BECAUSE OF TEETHING. ANYWAYS WHEN I HAD HIM IN 2 WEEKS AGO HE WEIGHED 15 POUNDS 10 OUNCES AND AS OF JUNE 26 HE WEIGHED 16 POUNDS 1 OUNCE. WHOO HOO HE IS GAINING!! OKAY WELL HERES SOME PICTURES FROM TODAY!!! Its Been A While!!!

Sorry I haven't been on for a while. We have been very busy. We recently moved up to Gold Canyon. I Love it so far. I ill post some pictures as soon as I can. Brayden has been doing pretty good. He is now weighing close to 16 pounds. He is scouding around sits up like a big boy. We are working on cra wling. Because he was born so early he does some delays but he will get past them. He has 2 teeth and 4 more about to pop through. Teething has been very rough for him. Anyways he did get that flu bug that was going around. He had to go into the hosptial for 24 hrs to get some fluids in a IV because he was very dehidrated. He is very strong and fought back pretty fast. Well I will try to post pictures later today or hopefully tomorrow.

The last couple days have been very good for my lil man. He has been eating good keeping it down. Knock on wood. We took him to get weight today he weighs 14.1 exactly. He gained 5 ounces in a week in a half. Anyways we took him to see his grandma missy the other day, she got him a pair of mickey mouse ears from DisneyLand with his name stiched on it. So here are some pictures of him with them on. And some pictures of him and his cuz Kaitlyn Packard. So cute!! He love them!!! Thanks Grandma!!

MY FIRST TIME

Well this is my first time doing this blog. Thanks to Laura for telling me about it. I will start from the beginning for those of you who dont no the whole story about my son Brayden. He was born on August 13 2007. He was born very premature 2 pounds 6 ounces to be exact. He stayed in the hospital for 40 long days. I had very high blood pressure the whole time I was pregnant so it stopped him from getting the nurtients he needed to grow. I carried him until 34 weeks but he stopped growing at 29 weeks. His lungs were fully developed thank god. Hes had eating issues since the day I had him and still does. Hes came along way. He is a very strong little boy. He now weighs about 14 pounds amd is 8 months old. He is always so happy. Smiles at everyone. He loves being outside and loves being held. He loves baby food his favorite is sweet potatoes. He started rolling over at 5 in a half months but he is very lazy so he dosen't do it all the time. He is almost sitting up by himself. Starting thrusday he will start getting some phyical therpy to help catch him up to where hes suppose to be. He is the light of our day. He says 2 words da da and cocka where he learned cocka I dont no lol. But it is so cute he says it all the time. He loves to babble. He has such a personality.
